Guild-History for QuantumN (formerly known as Casual42)...

Although I do not remember specifically when I started out in Game of Dice, that was most-likely around a year ago by now, and, when I did, the Guild that I first joined was called Casual42, and was moderately active at the time, with newcomers coming in semi-regularly. Eventually, how-ever, the original Guild-Leader must have gone inactive, and, due to said disappearance, resulted in SourPopsicle (one of our original Guild-Members from the beginning) becoming our new Guild-Leader, for a time, anyway; eventually, she became rather busy with school-work, thus, resulting in the Guild-Leader status being auto-transferred to me after a time (I believe this happens if a Guild-Leader does not log in for two weeks in a row), but, as of mid-May of 2021CE, I can only assume that she must have decided to quit playing altogetherr (life in the off-line world can be rather demanding after all).

For a while I continued to play semi-casually, then semi-actively, but, eventually, became very highly active to the point where I was pulling nearly all of the weight for Guild-Quests & Missions (and Tournaments). I do have experience with numerous multi-player on-line games and, due to this experience, and, witnessing what had been happening with guild-activity, knowing that on-line populations/communities usually tend to have a rather high attrition-rate, I decided that I needed to put forth some effort into figuring out how to revive Guild-Activity. Periodically, highly motivated gamers/members would join, but, when it came to that level of competitiveness in them, I can understand why they would Guild-Hop (and were probably just guild-hopping anyway until they were to stumble upon a guild where 100% of their guild-members were hard-core-gamers), and, although it really would probably make more sense for me to do something similar, I actually need to continue to exercise my Leadership-abilities and develop my Leadership-skills, thus, here we are. If you are Super-Active, then, one of the International-Guilds called Playnow or other guilds of whales/hard-core gamers would probably better-suit your preferences (assuming that they have member-slots available; although, until players have reached level 40+, like all on-line games, you can still expect there to be a fairly high attrition-rate).

Granted, I still have a lot to learn about being a great and effective leader, but, I at least have some experience when it comes to providing effective-direction. Probably, one of the biggest challenges in Leadership-Ability that I face right now is my division of attention and time into too many different things, instead of focusing on just one particular Guild/Clan/Union/Project/Activity/etc at a time, but, I can at least create knowledge-maps of what I know and what I have learned to help with Guild-Growth and Management. Probably the most-important skill(s) I need to re-develop at this point are my time-management abilities.

-Aéius Cercle (Guild-Leader)
